For over 40 years, we’ve been a Nordic exchange dedicated to growth companies and retail investors. We're a part of Boerse Stuttgart Group, Europe’s sixth-largest exchange group, with exchanges in Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland.

NGM offer trading in more than 60 000 financial instruments, including local and global equities and indices, commodities, crypto, and currencies. Everything we do is built around close, long-term partnerships.

Four decades of market innovation

Nordic Growth Market has helped shape the Nordic financial landscape since 1984. Through innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, we have continuously challenged traditional market structures and created new opportunities for companies and investors.

1984 – Svensk Börsinformation (SBI) founded

Introduced real-time market information in Sweden.

1993 – Swedish exchange monopoly abolished

Opened the market for new trading venues and innovation.

2001 – The Exchange Becomes Nordic Growth Market (NGM)

Established NGM as a Nordic exchange focused on growth companies.

2003 – NGM launched NDX Derivatives Market

Expansion into the derivatives market, offering innovative exchange-traded investment products

2007 – Launch of MTF market for SME companies

New marketplace for SME growth companies following MiFID regulation.

2008 - NGM Becomes Part of Boerse Stuttgart Group

NGM is acquired by Börse Stuttgart Group, Europe’s sixth-largest exchange group

2014 – Revenue sharing model launched

First exchange globally to launch a revenue-sharing model.

2020 – Fortnox, listed on NGM

Was recognized as the best-performing stock of the decade, delivering a share price increase of more than 6,000%.

2021 – NGM Reach introduced to provide access to European investors

Companies listed at NGM can gain access to the European capital market through a dual listing in Germany.

2023 – Extended trading hours

NGM became the first Nordic stock exchange to extend trading hours until 10:00 PM for exchange-traded products, enhancing market accessibility and flexibility for investors.

2026 – 60,000 listed financial instruments

NGM surpassed 60,000 listed financial instruments, offering the broadest and deepest range of investment opportunities among the Nordic exchanges.
