Investment Competition
The Investment Competition is organized by the Nordic Growth Market (NGM) exchange. Through this competition, curious amateurs and seasoned investors can test their skills in trading stocks, commodities, indices, currencies, crypto, and interest rates. The trading is done using regular shares and exchange-traded products.
During the competition, participants aim to achieve the highest possible return in their portfolio, which starts with 1,000,000 fictitious kronor. All securities are traded at real market prices but with virtual money. The advantage of the competition is that you can practice trading without risking real money.
The Investment Competition is a social competition — challenge friends, colleagues, and family to see who is the best at trading! Participants can create groups and compete against others within the same group.
Participation is, of course, free of charge, but you must be at least 18 years old.
2025 (Competition Closed)
The competition runs from October 13 to October 24. To take part in the main competition and compete for the first prize, you must register no later than October 17. Trading is open during exchange hours, 08:00–22:00. Note that some securities, including shares, are traded during shorter hours, 09:00–17:25.
