NGM Exchange is awarded as the Best Exchange in the Nordics
Nordic Growth Market (NGM exchange) has won two awards – Best Exchange in the Nordics and Best Educational Initiative. The awards were handed out the conference Nordic Structured Products & Derivatives Conference, in Stockholm on the 2nd of June.
On Thursday the 2nd of June the conference Nordic Structured Products & Derivatives Conference was held at Grand Hotel in Stockholm. The event gathered representatives from retail banks, insurance companies, investment banks, independent investment advisors and exchanges. Several awards were handed out at the event and NGM Exchange was awarded with both Best Exchange and Best Educational Initiatives. Tommy Fransson, Deputy CEO at the exchange, highlights the clients as the main factor for the exchange’s success and their position as market leader in the Nordics.

Key criteria for the award was infrastructure, market turnover, time to market, complains to regulation.
- We have a long term focus on educational initiatives and work together with our clients to educate investors. Among other things, we offer the biggest investment competition in the Nordics which has more than 15 000 competitors. Also, we offer educational events, daily web-TV programs and online based educations at our website.
NGM Exchange operates in all Nordic countries and is the market leader within the segment for ETP’s (exchange traded products). Today, the exchange offers more than 10 200 structured products. During 2015 the exchange had more than 3.3 million trades in ETP’s, which is three times more than the second largest actor in the market.

The awards Best Exchange in the Nordics and Best Educational Initiative is handed out by the organization Structured Retail Products (structuredretailproducts.com). Annually they conduct a comprehensive online survey of the market with institutions associated to structured products. The organization that gets the most votes is announced as the winner. The awards are handed out at the conference Nordic Structured Products & Derivatives Conference.
