# Avsalt Group AB

Avsalt is a Swedish environmental technology company that manufactures desalination machines for water purification. The company has developed a patented technology aimed at reducing maintenance needs and energy consumption, while enabling a continuous flow of water purified from ions and charged small molecules. The technology is based on thin carbon-based electrodes that, through alternating voltage application, remove ions and charged small molecules from the water. The desalination machine can adjust parameters such as flow rate, energy consumption, and salinity, and is controlled by several parameters that can be optimized in real-time using AI. The company aims to compete with other technologies by offering a cost-effective and high-quality solution.
