NGM awarded Best Educational Initiative for investors at Nordic Structured Products & Derivatives Awards

NGM was awarded the Nordic prize for Best Educational Initiative for their education in structured products. NGM received the award at the Nordic Structured Products & Derivatives Conference 2015 which was held at Grand Hotel in Stockholm on Thursday (May 28th).

Last week Structured Retail Products arranged the event Nordic Structured Products & Derivatives Conference in Stockholm. Participants from all the Nordic countries were present to discuss developments in structured products and listen to best practice. Several prizes were distributed during the day and NGM was named winner in the category Best Educational Initiative, acknowledging the Exchange’s educational activities towards the investors. NGM organizes, among other things, the largest investor competition in the Nordic region, with over 15 000 participants in 2014, and is behind the daily television broadcast ETP Direct. The TV broadcast, with over 1000 viewers daily, is produced in cooperation with the news agency Direkt.

“We are pleased and proud to receive this award. For a long time we have distinguished ourselves, especially from other stock exchanges, by focusing on educating the market together with our issuers. It feels great that our initiatives are noticed and awarded”, says Tommy Fransson, Deputy CEO of NGM.
